Story of two poor friends (inspirational)
Story of two poor friends (inspirational)
Once upon a time in a village, there were two poor friends. They
were fast friends and living a pity life because they could not earn enough and
were living a merciful life. Although, they were fast friends but had variant nature
and completely different work profile. They were having a misery life and
wanted to secure their future and present by fetching more money through their profession.
Their profession was different and nature of direction of thoughts doesn’t match
with each other. One of them was religious and simple who used to chant God Ram,
his deity name the whole day and other was cunning and swindler/thug. They
differ in their professional fields but both were very fast and good friends.
Tired and upset of their onerous life, they decided together
to move to some town for some time to earn some good amount of money and later
settle some business in their village so that they would live a comfortable and
satisfied life. Making a bold decision to erase poverty from their life, they
decided a day for starting their journey towards some town which would be going
to transform their life as they imagined. Life is the other name of struggle/fight
to tackle problems with intelligence and bravery. They were ready to go with
struggle. They started journey on the decided day by foot because at that time
the transportation system was not as such as it is in present. Both were
walking and passing through a forest. They had food packed with them separately
and were moving on their journey in hope of a happy bright future. At some long
distance, the thug friend got his foot hit by something, both looked down. They
saw a small bundle lying in front of thug’s foot. The thug friend took it and
opened it. It was a great cheer for him as there were gold coins in the small piece
of cloth created as a bundle. He smiled and his face glowed with happiness and
victory. He embraced his friend with happiness and expressed his wish for his
own return to village for a new startup of life. The good religious friend
shared his joy with him and agreed to his wish. The thug friend returned to the
village wishing his friend good luck for his journey.
Now, staying there for some minutes, the religious friend
started his journey again as he wished to reach a town as soon as possible for
him. Walking steadily chanting God Ram’s name, he was dreaming of some good job
in town which would revive his life leading to prosperous and satisfied living.
While walking on the way after some
time, his foot also got hit by something. At once he looked down but to other
than his expectation his foot had hit a stone. It was shocking for him to see
the bleeding foot which was giving pain to him. He held his foot tight with his
hands and his eyes got wet with tears because of unbearable pain. He felt sad because
of the incidents happened in front of him. His friend who was a deceiver,
received gold coins but he, a religious regular chanting God’s name, got hit by
a stone. He was surprised by the justice of God. He wanted to know the answer
from God and he remembered him being suffering in pain. Listening his entreaty,
God Ram appeared in front of him. The religious friend saw God, wept and asked along
with offering obeisance about the incidents happened with him and his friend,
he asked his God why his friend had received gold coins even being a thug. Why he
had got hurt whereas he chanted his kind name always. The question was genuine
and its answer would be interesting, the devotee knew. But as he was hurt and
sad, he just wished to know the reason of his hurt.
God Ram knew everything. He blessed him some relief from pain
and kindly replied to his question. He said that it was the game of all karmas.
Karma did all. Karma, the main reason of
pleasure and grief in the world, did everything for the justice to them. The religious
friend could not understand. God again replied that actually his thug friend
was to be a king that day but due to his unsocial activities, he was swept away
by gifting some gold coins. His bad deeds didn’t allow him to be a king. The religious
friend understood the matter but anxious to know about his wound. God knew
about his curiosity and said that he was to be hanged that day. He was saved
and left with little injury. The good friend kept staring to God being highly
shocked by the answer. He wept and bowed his head in God’s feet. He was
grateful to God and proud to be a devotee of him. He felt extreme security
around him which created the confidence and boldness within him. He thanked to
God and prayed for his continuous blessing on him. He was happy and he
continued his journey for a town.
This is to summarise that karma is everything in the world. We
receive what we do. We lose our future good life, good opportunities according
to our karmas in present. So, it is to learn here that we receive what we sow.
God is with good deeds.
